Bear Creek R&G Club originated in the 1980s with expansions to its current property size. Access roads, legacy cabins
and wood sheds were built in the early 1970s with components from the old "Dodge" estate to accommodate paper company logging.
The standing structures are preserved through the Adirondack Park. More recently we invited back the original cabin builder-logging
supervisor-property hunter who helped memorialize the historical identity of our camp to our members enjoyment. In the last
20 years logging occurred twice. Each opened new swathes of woodland creating new under-story growth, reforestation and critter
natural habitat, while providing greater member access and attracting more game and recreational possibilities - all positives.
